Walsall Rotary Club has had a long tradition of having guest speakers come and talk about their Charities, Community group, History, Science, Club Matters, Health & Wellbeing, fund raising, District and National and International Projects, Charities and Impact .

These are held at the Friday meeting. Guests are welcome to join these meetings.

Friday 9th October, Speakers Wendy Jackson and Pat Viggers, Breast Cancer Support Group.

Wendy and Pat received a cheque for £1000 from Past President Glynnis to support the groups work.

Friday 2nd October, Speaker is Dix Wilton on Saratoga.

26th September Rotary Calvia International, Palma & Walsall Rotary. Raised €800 for Foundation projects 

25th September 2026, RTN Susie Taylor, Memory Cafe and how the project came together and continues to support the community.

11th September 2026, St Mathews Church Heritage Day

This year Rotary joined St Mathews Church to celebrate their Heritage Day and the project to encourage Bumble Bee’s in the Church Gardens. Speaker by Dr John Edlin, History and renovation of the crypt and a tour. Honoured Guest, The Mayor of Walsall Councillor Alan Fleming attended the celebration. The Senior Vice President Tim Carver presented £200 cheque donated to enhance the Bumblebee Garden Project.

Friday 28th August, Speaker was Mike Ballenger, Review on transport integration in the UK .

Friday 14th August, Alzheimer’s Society. The society received a donation of £1000 from Walsall Rotary Club.

Friday 7th August, Speaker is Ian Gray, Archivist. subject is William Robinson of steam printing fame and the Walsall Observer 1865- 1926.

Friday 31st July, Speaker is Amelia from 3rd Walsall Sea Scouts – Talking about preparing to go to the Jamboree in Poland in 2027.
