The Club

Walsall Rotary is a vibrant club who support many local charities in the Walsall Borough, founded in 1921, The club has diverse and proactive membership championing many good causes and events throughout the year.

When we meet

We normally meet every Friday at 1PM at Calderfields Golf Club, except on Bank Holidays, members and guests welcome.

Every 3rd week in the month we meet for Coffee and Cake from 10am on Saturday where Members, Guests and families are welcome.

Every 5th week in the Calendar month we will meet for evening social meeting usually from 7pm.

We support many charities both locally, Nationally and Internationally.

Locally we support, Ablewell Food Bank and advisory service, Heartcare, Memory Cafe, Walsall Bereavement Service, Walsall Sea Scouts, Sea Cadets, Marie Currie, Royal British Legion, Santa Sleigh, St Mathews Church Bumble Bee Project, Books 4 Home working with 9 schools in the area, Planting crocuses. We support a number of Rota Kids, Interact and Rotaract clubs with our local schools and communities. We are always looking for Project Volunteers to help supports our causes and be a Rotary Friend to the club.

Internationally we support, Stop Polio Now, WaterAid, Mobile medical centres in India, Ukraine humanitarian aid, Start-up lending loans in Africa, Youth development projects amongst other projects that are in development. Rotary International has over 1000 free educational learning resources teaching many skills for life.

The Memory Cafe at St Mathews, meets every 2nd Tuesday from 10.30 to 12.00pm, costs £2.00.
