From the Santa Sleigh Collection over Christmas , a cheque for £2115 was presented to Sandra Hewitt from Walsall Sea Scouts by President Mac Mahay,with Senior Vice President Trevor Chapman and Junior Vice President Glynnis Jeavons. We thank the Walsall sea scouts for their tremendous support during the Santa Sleigh runs and the collections at Sainsbury and Morrisons.
From the Santa Sleigh Collection over Christmas , a cheque for £2000 was presented to Walsall Heartcare’s Sarah Heard(Health Care Assistant) and Rina Gaddu( Fundraiser) by Presidents Dave Gill and Mac Mahay. Sarah gave a great talk on Healthy Eating.
We thank them for the tremendous support that Heartcare give to us and the local community throughout the year.
SANTA COLLECTIONS FROM MORRISONS ,REEDSWOOD and SANTA STREET COLLECTIONS have raised a massive £8,865.06 , with Gift Aid we have again raise over £10,000 which will go to our supported charities throught the year. This is a fantastic effort by all Rotarians and friends and Sea Scouts and friends who supported us immensely, thanks to the generous people of Walsall.
